Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the financial management of the organization, including the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle management (RCM), including healthcare accounting, audit, tax, and revenue recognition.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Manage the organization's cash flow, ensuring adequate funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
- Oversee the management of payables and receivables to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement a robust internal audit program to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
- Proven experience in healthcare accounting, revenue cycle management, audit, tax, and revenue recognition.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes and procedures, including the creation and management of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cash flow, including payables and receivables.
- Understanding and knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
