We're seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join a progressive healthcare facility for a 13-week contract. Utilize your expertise in operating CT scanners and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

Job Description:

• Conduct CT scans following established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment (as needed).
• Must have a strong understanding of CT procedures.

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT(CT) certification and valid State License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Details:

• 13 week contract
• Nights
• 3x12's (18:00-6:30)

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and addressing any concerns or questions.

2. Equipment Operation: Operate CT scanning equipment to capture detailed images of the patient's anatomy, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring the highest image quality.

3. Positioning: Position patients correctly on the CT table and immobilize as necessary to obtain accurate images.

4. Radiation Safety: Maintain a safe environment by adhering to radiation safety protocols and minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.

5. Quality Control: Perform routine equipment checks, calibrations, and maintenance to ensure the reliability and accuracy of CT scans.
