Utility Operator

The USG Shoals location is looking for full-time utility operators. Candidates will be compensated $20.86/hour with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.). The position offers many challenges to those that wish to exceed their limits in an environment that seeks continuous improvement and innovation. You will report to the continuous improvement coordinator.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist with special projects (industrial cleaning and painting).

• Fill in for production operators’ vacations.

• Work in the warehouse.

• Perform general housekeeping duties.

• All other related tasks and projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and successfully complete USG’s pre-employment screening requirements.

• Willing and able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety rules and practices.

• Results oriented and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities.

• Good communication skills needed with all co-workers.

• Maintain a high standard for housekeeping within the work area.

• Candidates demonstrating above average safety performance, work performance and meeting all attendance requirements may be considered for future full-time positions at the Shoals plant.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
