Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Physical Therapists for full-time positions within school districts located in Blanco, TX. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this role.

Requirements:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Completion of a graduate degree program in Physical Therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Familiarity with local and state regulations pertaining to school-based physical therapy services
• Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to address students' needs
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, strength, and functional abilities
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings to address students' physical limitations and enhance functional performance
• Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and other members of the educational team to integrate therapy goals into students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitoring students' progress, documenting therapy sessions, and modifying treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes
• Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative activities to review student progress and coordinate services effectively
