Position: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (Contract) Location: Belle Chasse, Louisiana Job Type: Contract, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs and goals of each student.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
- Providing therapy services in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Louisiana.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a school-based setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
