Special Education Teacher 2024-2025 | Lovington, NM

Position Full Time for 2024-2025 School year.
Pay $35-$45 hourly.

Summary:
ProCare Therapys Educational Department seeks a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher experienced with autistic students within the general population to support our school system in Lovington, New Mexico for the 2024-2025 school year.Candidatewill work alongside paraprofessionals to provide engaging teaching and learning practices to our young students. Ideal candidates will play a crucial role in positively impacting the lives of our students by directly contributing to the student(s) development. Providing curriculumplans designed to stimulate curiosityand discovery implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Program). Thus, providing direction and guidance to achieve their academic success.

Job Description:

We are looking for a wide range of experience working with students or school aged children providing highly structured classrooms with an emphasis on behavior management, language enrichment and intensive sensory supports. This will be resource/Inclusion classrooms with all age levels available. Openings in elementary, middle and high school. Please let us know which you prefer. Duties include IEPs, ICTs, assessments, evaluations, non-verbal communication skills & preparing students for transition into the next grade level.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters level in special education from accreditedcollege
• In State special education teaching certificate
• Strong Communication and collaboration skills with co-teachers, children, and families
• In school setting experience preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
