Full Time SPED Teacher Position - Lafayette, AL

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time positions within school districts in the Lafayette, Alabama area for the upcoming academic year.

Requirements:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in Alabama
• Bachelor s degree in Special Education or related field
• Thorough understanding of local and state regulations governing Special Education services in schools
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the specific needs of students with special needs
• Provide differentiated instruction to address the varying learning styles and abilities of each student
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the academic and social progress of students
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student growth and adapt instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and IEP objectives
