Maintenance Technician Facilities

Volt is immediately hiring Maintenance Technician at Corteva in Princeton, IL.

As a Maintenance Technician you will:

• Support Plant Operations.
• Maintain Condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools
• Support Process Safety Management and location safety efforts.
• Conduct seasonal prep work including Annual Preventative Maintenance, Repairs, and Improvements.
• Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities.
• Complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed.
• Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes.
• Work with vendors and contractors to safely and effectively complete work.

This is a full-time contract position 
Opening on 1st shift 6am – 2:30pm
 

Maintenance Technician must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of relevant work experience in a maintenance dept
• Willing and able to work in a variety of areas (field, plant, warehouse)
• Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated areas, standing and sitting for extended periods
• Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions
• Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting
• Willingness and ability to work shiftwork and overtime hours including weekend work required during seasonal peaks.
 
Pay Rate: $21/hr.
