Pharmacist- Full time: Retail Hurst,IL

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team in a temporary capacity with the potential for direct hire. This position will primarily operate in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, serving a diverse clientele with their medication needs.
Environment: Retail
Shift: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Number of Scripts: 100 to 120 per
Support: 2 pharmacy technicians and 1 pharmacy student. Technicians will primarily handle order entry.
Responsibilities:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Checking prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Providing consultation and advice to customers on prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians and students to maintain efficiency and accuracy
• Adhering to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
• Active Illinois pharmacy license in good standing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems
