Part-Time, Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed Near Natchitoches, LA - Summer School

A school in the Natchitoches, Louisiana area is looking to find a part-time, onsite, contracted Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with students during the Summer School session. We are looking for a skilled and talented candidate to join our Special Education team!

Required Qualifications:

• Must have an active SLP-CCC Louisiana License
• Must have Master s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Previous schools experience preferred, but not required

Position Details:

• 06/03/2024 - 06/28/2024
• Part-Time, Monday - Thursday
• Caseload: K - 12th grade, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Rate: $30 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience

General Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, voice, fluency, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the client's progress.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each client.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech therapy services.
