Description:A District is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is on-site and face-to-face, requiring a presence in the district for three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades PK-12
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and the special education process
• Promote effective communication and language development strategies

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)

Schedule and Work Environment:

• This is an on-site, face-to-face position
• Required to work three days per week within the Dayton Independent School District
