Job Description
Join a team of highly skilled, motivated professionals as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk through this opportunity offered by Robert Half. This role will require the candidate to attend to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department and work closely with the Accounting Manager. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks will be the main focus points in this role. Major responsibilities
- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
- Help with internal and external audits as required
- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
- Accomplish full-cycle A/P
- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
- Provide customer service to internal business partners
- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired- Foundational knowledge in Code Invoices
- Adeptness in Check Runs
- Proficiency in expense reports
- Coding Invoices experience highly desired
- Knowledge of Expense Reporting
- Demonstrated knowledge of check processing
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
