Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Sultan, WA

We are seeking a CertifiedOccupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team of dedicated professionals in the education field in Sultan, Washingtonforthe 24/25school year.

Job Description:

• Full time - 37.5 hours per week
• 2024-2025school year

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, visual perception, and other areas related to occupational therapy needs.

2. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs, which may include activities to improve fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.

3. Working closely with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and functional success.

4. Providing guidance and support to teachers and staff on strategies and accommodations to promote students' participation and success in the classroom.

5. Advocating for students with disabilities to ensure they receive appropriate support services and accommodations to access their education.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related fieldrequired
• WA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistantrequired
