Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Permanent Manufacturing Production Supervisor to join our innovative team. This key position will be responsible for leading and managing the manufacturing operations of our department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving department goals, enhancing production output, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring the production of high-quality materials in line with company standards.
  • Set department goals and objectives in line with the overall plant goals. Monitor and report on progress regularly.
  • Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times, maintaining safe working conditions and conducting regular safety audits.
  • Manage the use of API materials and other resources to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, coordinating with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Drive employee engagement, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for staff, enhancing their skills and performance.
  • Handle staffing needs, including hiring, training, evaluating, and resolving any employee-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other department heads and senior management to align strategies and ensure the smooth running of operations.
  • Continually assess and improve production processes to increase efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, preferably within the mortgage industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and achieve department goals and enhance production output.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality standards and safety regulations within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven experience in managing API materials and other resources.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of coaching and developing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle staffing needs effectively, with a focus on employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in production scheduling and logistics coordination.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining safe working conditions and conducting regular safety audits.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other department heads and senior management.
