Patient Registration

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Client Service Representative in the non-profit industry, based in Barberton, Ohio. In this role, you will be primarily focusing on patient registration functions at our Barberton clinic. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including patient registration, insurance verification, direct client interviews, and admissions.

Responsibilities:

• Register patients accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary details are recorded

• Verify patient insurance coverage and update records accordingly

• Conduct direct interviews with clients to gather necessary information

• Handle admissions, ensuring smooth and efficient processes

• Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times

• Use MS Office tools to maintain and update patient records

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain and update patient records

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy

• Be prepared to work some evenings, with no weekend commitments.

• Proficiency in Patient Registration processes and procedures
• Experience with Insurance Verifications
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with patients with empathy
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule
• Experience in a Non-Profit environment would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
