Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN

LVN Position at Lompoc Valley Medical Center

Join our team at the Comprehensive Care Center, where we focus on smooth transitions for skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation. We're seeking LVNs to assist residents with daily living and specialized care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications following procedures
• Document medication administration promptly
• Monitor residents' health during medication administration
• Communicate changes in residents' conditions to the Shift Coordinator and physician
• Participate in resident status reports and care planning decisions

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Day and Evening shifts available
• Compensation: $29-40 per hour with shift differentials for nights and evenings

Qualifications:

• Valid California State nursing license and CPR certification required
• Preferably experienced in geriatric nursing
• Competent in medication administration, assessment, and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of supervising Nurse Assistants' daily activities
