JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Logistics Operator for our client in Kingstree, SC!

Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:00
Description:
Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility
Use of Company vehicles (to include forklifts) and equipment to load/unload and transport materials in a safe manner.
Complete accurate documentation and maintain correct inventory of items; adhering to GMP practices and paperwork requirements.
Repackage and preparation of materials for use in production areas, may involve converting measurements between standard and metric versions.
Transfer of materials to and from rail cars, attach flanges and couplings to prepare cars for use and break down for return, which requires bending, stooping, and crawling under rail cars.
Transfer of materials to and from road tankers and rail cars, which requires climbing vertical ladders to perform various tasks on top of rail cars and over the road tankers.
Transfer of materials to and from freezer areas, which requires working in extremely cold environment, as cold as -20o Fahrenheit.
Maintain orderly and clean work area; perform housekeeping duties.
Ensure Quality procedures, Management Directives and Quality.
Report any quality deviations or non-conformances that you observe.
Support routine Quality talks/briefings with staff to raise Quality awareness (for those with direct reports)
Has the authority to intervene in the event of a quality or safety protocol concern
SHE:
Knows and follows all client Life Saving Rules.
Displays and promotes positive safety behaviors at all times; uses proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area (personnel, visitors, contractors, etc.) complies with the safety directives.
Acts in such a way that safety awareness and accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks; responsible to work in a SHE responsible manner and report all SHE incidents, shows leadership by working to SHE standards and encouraging employees to work to the same standards.
Other duties as assigned by management. #ZR
