Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Paraeducators. As a Paraeducator, you will work closely with students, teachers, and administrators to provide instructional support and assist in creating a positive learning environment. Your role will involve offering personalized assistance to students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support to students under the guidance of certified teachers
- Assist students with assignments, projects, and classroom activities
- Implement accommodations and modifications as directed by the teacher to support students with disabilities or special needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners
- Passion for supporting student success and promoting a positive learning environment
