Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Wood Sander to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and a proven track record of sanding and finishing wood surfaces to perfection. As a Wood Sander, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Sand and smooth wooden surfaces to prepare them for finishing
• Operate sanding equipment, including belt sanders, orbital sanders, and hand sanders
• Inspect wood surfaces for defects and imperfections, and take appropriate measures to address them
• Apply stains, sealants, and finishes to wood surfaces according to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials
• Collaborate with other members of the production team to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Wood Sander or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
• Proficiency in operating a variety of sanding equipment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
