As a Supply Chain Procurement Agent, you will work onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Reporting to the Supply Chain Procurement Manager, you will execute the Platform's tactical supply chain sourcing objectives for WQ, encompassing negotiation of material costs and components, supplier rationalization, and compliance with Watts Water Technologies policies.

You Will:
  • Develop and implement WQ sourcing plan that balance current needs with long-term direction, incorporating dual sourcing and supplier rationalization.

  • Identify and manage risks to supply, implementing preventative actions to mitigate potential issues. Addresses escalated supplier delivery issues.

  • Support the global sourcing efforts to minimize total cost of ownership and identify vendors who can meet WQ production and commercial requirements.

  • Supporting WQ's inventory reduction initiatives by driving supplier Kanban and consignment programs, support Lean initiatives.

  • Support internal customers with new product development and value engineering projects. Collaborating with Quality Control on first piece inspections and conducting on-site vendor audits/previews of vendor operations.

  • Ensure the success of material and acquisition cost savings initiatives, fostering positive supplier relations, and developing second source vendors.

  • Prepare contracts for purchases and blanket orders observing company policies.

  • Control and maintains the approved supplier list.

  • Meet PPV - cost savings goals and stay current on market prices for precious metals and other relevant commodities.

You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management - (Sourcing & Procurement, Finance, Industrial Engineering)

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in tactical sourcing in a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum 7 years of negotiating experience.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25% of the time).

  • Project and program management skills.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Kanban systems.

  • Experience developing and sustaining global sourcing programs..

  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
