The Solution Engineer is responsible for delivering professional solutions to business stakeholders by translating business process requirements into a technical solution through design implementation testing and training
- Safeguard the security, integrity and confidentiality of the company's internal systems and data by following company security protocols
- Test business solutions and ensure performance is as designed; resolve any issues
- Document solutions to allow support team to support business customers and for easy maintenance; transition key information to support team
- Perform business analysis to assist in gathering information about business process and customer needs from key business stakeholders
- Develop plan for migration of business solution into environments and support stakeholders throughout migration process with minimal guidance
- Compose the documentation and presentation of business analysis and solutions requirements to key stakeholders for validation and approval
- Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for end users, with minimal guidance
- Identify enhancements and processes to evolve product and/or solution functionality
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy
Design, prototype and build business solutions following best practices to meet business needs based on feedback from stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience configuring and implementing a technical solution
- Experience with assigned business applications
- Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Good problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Good at investigating situations or issues to get relevant information; adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information
- Demonstrated ability to appropriately manage project scope, compact project timelines and set customer expectations appropriately
- Ability to effectively manage a consistent customer-oriented project workload; effectively communicates project delays to management team and proactively seeks additional customer project work
- Good knowledge of business analysis and documenting functional requirements
- Good knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Good knowledge of object oriented programming languages such as C#, Apex, or Python
- Up to 5% travel time required
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $76,000-111,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits
