L'Auberge Carmel is a full-service, luxury, 20-room Relais & Châteaux property located in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea blocks from the famed Carmel Beach. L'Auberge Carmel is looking for team members that have a keen eye for the smallest of details combined with maximum efficiency to follow a prescribed routine quickly and accurately. All our team members are detail-oriented and self-motivated. While you'll perform a good deal of your work alone, you should also have a service-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills that will help you provide a welcoming guest experience.

Job Objective: To perform daily housekeeping and laundry services in a first-class manner. Is familiar with and complies with the L’Auberge Carmel and Mirabel Hotel and Restaurant Group’s Mission and Service Standards as well as Relais & Chateaux’s 5 C’s and philosophy in performing all essential duties and responsibilities.
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and pleasant image for guests.
- Clean and maintain all guestrooms to established standards.
- Clean and maintain assigned hotel public areas to established standards.
- Clean and replenish a designated number of rooms to hotel standards within allocated shift hours.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and report all accidents to the supervisor immediately regardless of severity.
- Maintain safety and security of guests at all times.
