Veterinarian

We are looking for a small animal veterinarian to join our growing privately owned mixed animal practice. Located in the Red Hills region we are surrounded by hunting plantations and working dogs and horses along with a wide variety of household pets. Thomasville is a pet loving community and welcomes a veterinarian.

Thomasville has a growing population with a great rural town atmosphere. Located just over an hour's drive to the Gulf Coast there are many out-of-work activities at your disposal. We want to grow our veterinary team to be able to emphasize a better work-life balance for all of our veterinarians.

Our practice has been established and privately owned for over 30 years. We see a large variety of cases in small animal and equine medicine and surgery. Our doctors pride themselves as continuing to grow and become better veterinarians everyday they come to work. They realize it is not an easy field but want to better themselves for the betterment of the clinic and the community.

Our doctors thrive on collaboration and work well together. We encourage each other to push ourselves so that we may achieve all we can in this profession. We practice individualized medicine and allow our doctors to choose the right path for each patient but are always willing to lend a hand.

Our doctors average a 36-40 hour work week with occasional Saturday morning shifts. We rotate surgery days to keep all of your skills improving. We have digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy and continue to provide the latest in diagnostics. We have great relationships with numerous companies that help us achieve our goals as a practice. We invest in the latest technology and encourage continuing education that will invigorate you and improve your job satisfaction regularly.

We are a member of VMG which allows us to provide endless resources to our staff and practice as a whole. There are specific continuing education course geared towards recent graduates to help them transition into private practice.
