JOB SUMMARY

The goal of this position is to provide hands-on work experience in a professional office setting. The IT Intern engages in work assignments, projects and activities of varying complexity which are structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Gain an understanding of the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Accepts designated, business-focused projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
  • Meets with functional business teams, BPOs, and SMEs to review documents and procedures and assists with updating standard operating procedures.
  • Audits and updates data as needed in various systems to ensure accuracy
  • Collects data on business processes and prepares statistics

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a major in Business, Information Technology or other related field.
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
