Wage: $23

Hours: 7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities: 
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to fabricate precision tool bits according to specifications. 
- Utilize CAD software to design and modify tool bit prototypes and production parts. 
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches to understand product requirements and dimensions. 
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. 
- Conduct quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. 
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process to maintain productivity and quality standards. 
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize machining processes and improve product designs. 
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. 
Document production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, and inspection results. 

Qualifications: 
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in CNC machining preferred. 
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. 
- Proficiency in computer operations and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). 
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform complex calculations. 
- Familiarity with G-code programming language and CNC machine controls. 
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. 
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and machining techniques.
