Laboratory Technician

Our client, a brand consumer packaging industry is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Personal Care Team; The design team is responsible for the global development of client's personal cleansing brands.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, collaborative skills and good at attention to details which will align successfully in the organization.

As a lab technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the formulation development of new global innovations for cleansing products.

Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Trumbull, CT (100% Onsite).
Pay Range: $20/hr.-$23/hr.

What’s the Job?

• Following formulation procedures: Accurately follow instructions to create cleaning solutions.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues on daily lab tasks.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of formulations, processes, and timings in a lab notebook.
• Inventory management: Track and maintain lab supplies (chemicals, etc.).
• Sample handling: Prepare, label, and ship product samples for testing.

• Education/Experience: Recent college graduate or minimum 2 years of lab experience.
• Lab skills: Proficient in basic lab techniques (solution prep, pH measurement) and equipment use (heating plates, mixers, etc.) or viscosity/rheology measurements.
• Computer skills: Comfortable with using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Physical ability: Must occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and be able to stand for extended periods.
• Communication: Must communicate effectively in English.
