Job Posting: R&D Engineer III (Hybrid Role)

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Pay Range: $65-70/hr

 

What’s the Job?

  • Lead the design of implantable medical device systems, translating user needs into technical requirements.
  • Develop and document system architecture, guiding hardware/firmware/software development and verification.
  • Apply critical thinking to solve complex system interaction challenges.
  • Create comprehensive design documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring groundbreaking devices to market.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's (5+ years experience) or Master's (3+ years experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems and/or implantable medical devices.
  • Expertise in interpreting and developing system requirements and specifications.
  • Experience working with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, data acquisition devices).
  • Proficiency in coding languages like Python, C/C++, Java, or Assembly (a plus).
