Key Responsibilities
  • Enter all incoming transformers/distribution equipment, components, parts and accessories into the internal data base and other programs as designated.
  • Print shop cards for repair units.
  • Enter/review customer specifications and special instructions as needed.
  • Work requires close interaction with other associates.  Must be able to function in a team-oriented environment.
  • Provide general clerical assistance to the office and the General Manager.
  • Prepare special reports, memoranda, transcribing, letter composition and routine correspondence, and researching information.
  • Responsible to customer reporting and order processing as required.
  • Prepare and distribute, upon review/approval, internal communications such as reports, order status information and inquiries.
  • Answer telephone, handle calls, route to appropriate individual or take messages. Ensure customers, vendors and associates are handled in a professional and courteous manner.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate will embody the following characteristics and possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
  • Hardworking.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Pervious experience with Microsoft Excel or similar software.
  • Ability to multitask. 
  • Physical ability to perform medium work, exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or in excess of 20lbs force frequently.
  • Comfortable working in extreme heat and cold.
