Litehouse Foods is seeking full-time Human Resources Manager to join our team in Hurricane, UT.


As our Human Resources Manager, you have a key role in ensuring that our manufacturing facility has a capable, productive and positive workforce. In cooperation with the Direct of Plant Operations and the Director of HR, you effectively administer HR functions, including recruitment, retention, training, development, performance management, benefits, employee relations, HR-related policy implementation, and HR regulatory compliance. You are a key business partner to the Manufacturing facility, through reinforcing Litehouse Core Values, driving the employee experience, performance development and accountability.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute HR functions for facility through close partnership with Director, Plant Operations and Director, HR for the facility.
  • Handle and resolve employee relations matters for the facility in accordance with Company policies and in consultation with VP HR and Director, Plant Operations.
  • Oversee the Talent Acquisition processes for the facility, including job postings, screenings, interview, offer letters, pre-employment drug and background checks, reference checks, onboarding, I-9s and new hire benefits.
  • Coach and advise managers/supervisors in relation to employee matters and performance management.
  • Manage the Internal Investigations processes in consultation with Director, HR.
  • Collaborate with Benefits Manager to ensure effective and compliant usage of benefit programs, including but not limited to healthcare, ESOP, 401(k), Worker's Compensation, and other supplemental benefits.
  • Maintain employee records and other related documentation in accordance with Company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in safety committee meetings, support safety procedures and practices as in accordance with Director, Plant Operations and corporate safety programs.
  • Responsible for compiling various HR Metrics and KPIs as designated
  • Other activities and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business management, or a related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience may substitute for a degree
  • PHR or CP certification (SPHR or SCP would be preferred)
  • 6 years of related experience with at least three years in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret HR-related documents, data, and metrics
  • Skills in performance management, internal investigations, talent acquisition, career development, and succession planning
  • Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Conflict-resolution skills
