Join one of the most inventive and forward-looking FQHCs in the country. Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking a full-time (40 hrs) Therapist to be based at our health center in the Old Town School as part of our School-Based Health Center services.

  • LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, conditional license considered
  • This is a new and emerging mental health service
  • Must be comfortable in a developing environment
  • Work will be primarily on-site, in person at the school
  • The position is planned for full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Scheduled Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm

All externally hired LCSW/LCPC/LMFT's will receive a sign-on/retention bonus ranging from $5,000 to $15,000, depending on prior experience!

This is a unique opportunity to play a key and foundational role in increasing access to mental health services for thel OT school district population. Collaborate with interdisciplinary primary care providers throughout PCHC, work closely with peers in other School-Based Health Centers. The position will promote timely access to care, continuity of care, and the enhancement of well-being in our area’s children.
