Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is a beautiful modern facility staffed by highly trained caring individuals. DMH provides an array of technology usually only found in large cities including a 64 slice CT scanner, 1.5 MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound and ECHO. Other services provided at DMH include surgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, nuclear medicine and physical therapy. Our specialty clinic brings physicians such as cardiologists, urologists, orthopedists, dermatologists and oncologists to Taylor County so that patients will not have to travel to surrounding cities for these services.

Job Description

The Float Licensed Practical Nurse, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse provides safe effective care to patients. The primary responsibilities will be to float to the clinical area of the hospital with the greatest need for nursing skills such as to the Medical Surgical Department, the Emergency Department, the Surgical Services Department, the Specialty Services Department (Wound Care/ Infusion), and the Intensive Care Unit. He/she can function as a team leader and independently with assigned patient population and support daily activities through effective communication with pertinent staff members.

Qualifications

Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse License. Current BLS card.

IV certification

Experience is preferred at a minimum of 1-year experience, but not required.
