Job Description
The Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for the safe, courteous and efficient transportation of guests between the base area and various locations within the Dodge Ridge parking areas. Drivers will make contact with many guests during the day and need to be knowledgeable about Dodge Ridge services and local amenities. A positive attitude and exceptional guest service skills are required.
Drivers will abide by all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations that apply to this role including maintaining log books, inspection records, DMV license reviews and participating in a random drug testing program. Drivers will be responsible for installing and uninstalling tire chains when required and removing snow from parts of the vehicle.

- Demonstrate an on-going commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This involves interacting with guests in a courteous manner, and being able to answer questions professionally.
- Safely and courteously driving busses on public roads.
- Daily vehicle inspections and log books.
- Reporting any vehicle maintenance needs to Vehicle Maintenance Dept.
- Refueling of busses.
- Installing and un-installing tire chains.
- Communicating with Supervisor regularly regarding parking lot and road congestion
- Managing guest behavior on busses and referring issues to Manager as required.
- Managing snow buildup on busses to avoid creating road hazards.
- At minimum, current class B license with passenger transportation endorsement.
- Must posses a valid driver's license and meet the Motor Vehicle Record qualifications as outlined in the Fleet Safety Program.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Be in good physical condition, as this position requires working at altitude and in inclement weather.
- Ability to install and uninstall tire chains.
- Ability to accurately follow directions.
- Be aware of the ski area services, terrain and facilities.
- Be well groomed and present a good public image.
- Possess the ability to read, speak, and to write English legibly.
- Be punctual, honest, trustworthy and possess good judgment

Weather conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods, you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy road surfaces.
Working Conditions
At any time during the ski season, Dodge Ridge employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
Uniforms
A professional appearance at Dodge Ridge is required. Please wear your name tag and uniform at all times during your scheduled shift. We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. However, you will be required to provide some items as part of your job, as listed below. The quality, color, and style of the items must be approved by your manager prior to being worn to work. All hats worn must have the Dodge Ridge logo while on shift.
