Summary of Job Purpose

Job Duties and Responsibilities

This job description is intended as a summary of the primary responsibilities of and the qualifications for the position. 1. Demonstrate an on-going commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This involves interacting with guests in a courteous manner, and being able to answer questions professionally.
2. Safely and courteously driving busses on public roads.
3. Daily vehicle inspections and log books.
4. Reporting any vehicle maintenance needs to Vehicle Maintenance Dept.
5. Refueling of busses.
6. Installing and un-installing tire chains.
7. Communicating with Supervisor regularly regarding parking lot and road congestion
8. Managing guest behavior on busses and referring issues to Manager as required.
9. Managing snow buildup on busses to avoid creating road hazards.

Job Qualifications

• At minimum, current class B license with passenger transportation endorsement.
• Must posses a valid driver's license and meet the Motor Vehicle Record qualifications as outlined in the Fleet Safety Program.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Be in good physical condition, as this position requires working at altitude and in inclement weather.
• Ability to install and uninstall tire chains.
• Ability to accurately follow directions.
• Be aware of the ski area services, terrain and facilities.
• Be well groomed and present a good public image.
• Possess the ability to read, speak, and to write English legibly.
• Be punctual, honest, trustworthy and possess good judgment

Work Schedules

Weather conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees.

When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods, you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.

You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy road surfaces.

Working Conditions

At any time during the ski season, Dodge Ridge employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
