Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong leadership skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to assign, direct and monitor the work of employees.

• Use of inventory management software to track inventory, prioritize products for upcoming food service orders and ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of all food service orders.
• Collaborates with order desk to ensure the accuracy and complete fulfillment of local orders.

• Communicates with Supervisor and/or Production Manager about any issues involving shorts for same day PO's.
• Directs the shipping workflow and other warehouse operations.
• Assigns tasks and work orders to warehouse associates.
• Maintains the daily shipping and receiving schedule.
• Dispatches and answers inbound truck orders.
• Categorizes inventory and completes inventory tracking in Fishbowl system.
• Creates and files sales orders, invoices, productivity reports, packing lists, and other documentation.
• Collaborates with the warehouse supervisor and associates.
• Product should be assigned to PO's using the "FIFO" (first in, first out) process.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
• Utilize tools and equipment as needed to perform duties.

• Ensure Compliance with OSHA and SDS Standards.

• Other duties as assigned.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms and required to talk and hear, the employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull for over 8 hours, the employee is required to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to withstand various weather and temperature conditions to include heat, humidity and cold.

Requisite Skills/Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED

Previous Experience, Certificates, License and Skills: 1-2year warehouse experience

1 year Forklift experience (in house forklift certification training)

• Ability to read and write English; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

• Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and rules.
• Self-starter, self-motivated and able to think on their feet.
• Ability to work under a timeline and meet timeline deadlines.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Knowledge and understanding of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Good hygiene and cleanliness.

• Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled hours.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
