• Minimum Guaranteed Wage of $16/hour: At the end of the pay period, if your base wage ($10.50/hour + $2/hour additional for any time after 10pm) and tips have not averaged to at least $16/hour, we will pay the rest. You are guaranteed to earn at least $16/hour minimum, but you certainly can make more than that! A Front of House Counter Server typically averages $16-$20/hour, but can earn up to $25/hour on a busy shift. Tips are paid at the end of each shift, and all other wages are paid on your paycheck (biweekly).

Seasonal Front of House Counter Server Job Duties and Expectations

You're biggest priority is to serve customers! You'll take salad orders and prepare them; take slice orders and finish the bake; and ring people up at the register. Cleaning, keeping things stocked, answering phones, and entering orders is also a big part of the FOH. You will be busy the whole shift, and your teammates will be there to help.

And the tips will literally and figuratively have you "rolling in the dough"!

Seasonal Front of House Counter Server Job Requirements

• Be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Be able to bend, crouch, and lift 20-50 lbs.
• Be able to use ovens, pizza cutters, and other equipment of the business.
• Must be 18+ to apply. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can apply for the Front of House at our Garver location (3241 Garver Green), and all other positions/locations require you to be 18+ years of age.

Seasonal Front of House Counter Server Scheduling

9-5 is a Dolly Parton song, not a job at Ian's! Opening shifts typically start 1-2 hours before opening time, and closing shifts typically end 1-2 hours after closing time. Most people work a mix of shifts (open, mids, dinner, closing). Schedules at Garver are posted for 2 weeks at a time.

Garver (3241 Garver Green) current hours are Sunday-Thursday 11am-9pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-10pm. Our restaurants are most busy on evenings and weekends, so availability for evenings and weekends is highly preferred.
