Registered Dietitian (RD) Full Time Senior Living Facility

As our Registered Dietitian Dining Director, you'll oversee our dietary department and food safety. While you will have overall responsibility for our dining department, our Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)/Executive Chef will supervise and manage our cooks, servers and hosts. In addition, you will perform regular clinical assessments, adopt patient-centered care planning, attend care conferences, and ensure menus are meeting dietary requirements and physician orders for all residents. Lastly, you will work in close partnership with our nursing team to monitor weight and wounds of residents.

You'll maintain quality metrics throughout the dietary department and provide the appropriate training to the culinary team as needed. Thorne Crest promotes and thrives on their inclusive positive, team focused environment!

• Starting pay $70k-80k/year based on experience

• Bachelors degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association License or licensed per state requirements
• Prior management experience, preferably in a long-term care or similar environment, preferred
• Experience in long-term care environment and certified in gerontological nutrition services preferred
