Network Operations

Network Operations provides quality support in Information Systems working closely with Information Technology Manager. Provides technical support for all staff and other users of hospital's computer system, maintenance and modifications of operations including network system and auxiliary software products required to support multiple servers and multi-faceted systems environment.

Essential Duties:

A. Datacenter and Switching

• Maintain and deploy Datacenter software/hardware
• Firmware updates for Cisco switching and servers
• SAN management/configuration
• Route configuration/management
• VMware Management
• Server software support
• Server OS maintenance
• Server OS migrations/upgrades
• Routing/switching changes and troubleshooting

B. Support our in-house Helpdesk engineer with escalations or spillover work as needed.

Knowledge (Education)/Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or related field with 3 year's experience working with large network systems preferably in healthcare or substantial IT experience in exchange for degree requirement.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and written communication kills.
• Possess modern office and advanced computer skills including the current versions of Active Directory, Windows Server and Exchange Server.
• Prior expertise with Meditech or similar hospital based software preferred
