Trailer Assembler


SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Trailer Assembler to assemble trailers, install wiring and prepare trailers for shipping. This is an entry level position with growth potential for those who have the drive and motivation to learn and grow in an expanding business.


Job Description:

  • Assemble trailers by installing axles, wheels, and other accessories.
  • Install wiring and trailer lights to trailer frame.
  • Build crates for shipping.
  • Perform miscellaneous warehouse duties to include organizing supplies, clean up, load/unload trucks.
  • Communicate with the Supervisor on any issues that could hamper production.
  • Make sure work area stays clean and free of hazardous working conditions.
  • Notify Supervisor immediately of any unsafe working conditions.
  • Notify Supervisor prior to parts becoming short in supply.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required, but experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team while encouraging team work.

Education/Certification:

High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
