Maintenance Manager [Christy Catalytics]

Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager will be hands-on in overseeing and executing maintenance activities to ensure efficient operation of equipment, facilities, and utilities. This role will lead by example, working alongside a team of maintenance technicians to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment.

Expected Hours: Typically, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and evenings as needed.

Position Details:

• Hands-On Maintenance: Perform and oversee maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and work closely with a team of maintenance technicians, providing hands-on guidance and training.
• Equipment Care: Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain and repair facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, making cost-effective decisions.
• Vendor Coordination: Work directly with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.
• Safety Practices: Lead by example in promoting and enforcing safety regulations and practices within the maintenance team.
• Inventory Control: Manage maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.
• Hands-On Approach: A hands-on mentality with a willingness to get involved in maintenance tasks.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with some leadership or supervisory experience.
