Description:

Service Managers are responsible for the overall performance of the service department at their OneWater store. They are passionate about delighting customers and achieving or exceeding their volume, productivity and profit goals through effective management of the service team.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Leads a positive and ethical work environment that attracts, motivates and contributes to retaining high performing team members
  • Effectively trains and executes successful service processes, to ensure the customer has an excellent service experience
  • Insures the effective scheduling of service work, and processes retail, warranty and internal repairs orders efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Develops and executes service training schedule, including technician certifications & manufacturer provided training
  • Analyzes operations and finds ways to increase efficiency and profitability of the service dept.
  • Maintains a clean, safe and environmentally friendly service operation
  • Supports General Manager in the execution of successful boat shows, store and off-site sales/customer events

  • Has a continuous learning mindset, develops and maintains a high-level of service knowledge
  • Builds and maintains positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty, increase referrals and enhance dealer reputation
  • Resolves customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner and always looks for ways to better serve our customers
  • Insures that the service team effectively communicates with customers on a timely basis, keeping the customer proactively informed of the status of their repairs
  • Promotes teamwork, and supports other team members, departments and locations to insure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, financing, delivery and subsequent servicing of the boat
  • Customer satisfaction, both internal and external
  • Achieves or exceeds revenue and profit goals
  • Technician efficiency/productivity
  • Service response & turnaround times
  • Effective utilization of OneWater business practices
  • Management experience
  • Lift 10 lbs infrequently
  • Seated, Stooping, Climbing
