Requirements

• Experience with the Optimism tech stack, or any other EVM-compatible L2s, especially in the development of the node software like op-node, op-geth, etc. OP Stack is strongly preferred.
• op-node/op-geth/op-batcher/op-proposer
• Golang
• Deep understanding of the EVM and how external applications interact with it
• Thorough knowledge of chain mechanics
• Handling chain upgrades
• Experience writing Solidity
• Zero-knowledge proofs

Nice to have: Given a problem, be able to architect an end-to-end solution for it. This combines business analyst skills with architect skills.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced blockchain engineer, preferably one with OP Stack or similar roll-up experience. The applicant must be self-guided, and will in return be given more technical freedom.

• UTC-10 (Hawaii) to UTC+1 (Western Europe) time zones.
• Must be responsive on Telegram.
• Availability to be on call (to be defined when and how, as a failover if senior members don't acknowledge an alert) and respond to resolve issues should something crash off-hours.
• Expert knowledge of git.
