Job Description: As the Assistant Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our apartment community. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the financial growth of the property while maintaining a positive and high-energy atmosphere. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service are essential for success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Enhance the financial growth of the property through effective leasing strategies and rent collection management.
  • Maintain a positive and high-energy atmosphere within the community, fostering a sense of belonging among residents.
  • Utilize Entrata software to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize strong collection management skills to ensure timely rent payments and minimize delinquencies.
  • Collaborate with the property manager and leasing team to meet leasing goals and occupancy targets.
  • Actively participate in leasing activities, including conducting property tours and processing lease applications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract new residents.
  • Mentor and support leasing staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Assistant Manager position within the property management industry.
  • 2 years of leasing experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to exceeding resident expectations.
  • Proficiency with Entrata software is preferred.
  • Strong collection management skills, with the ability to minimize delinquencies.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Goal-oriented, ambitious, meticulous, detail-oriented, friendly, and a team player.
