Available Shifts:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Job Description:
Snelling has an immediate opening for a Material Handler – Quality Control in Louisville, Ky. This position will be responsible for packaging products, transporting products via forklift, and monitoring product for defects. The Material Handler – Quality control should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:
- Load and unload products via forklifts
- Inspect received materials to ensure quality
- Supply parts and components to departments
- Complete daily operator check list
Material Handler – Quality Control Requirements:
- Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to work in loud and noisy environment
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and procedures
- Recent experience in Material Handler setting
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Forklift Certification
