Job Description

The business operations intern for Mau Marine is responsible for assisting the Parts manager with all shipping and receiving for Mau Marine and the Okoboji Store. Primary duties for the role are taking incoming parts requests, invoicing parts to external and internal customers, and assisting with the receiving of parts and accessories as needed.

Responsibilities

The following responsibilities will be expected for this position:

• Greet retail customers and ask to assist
• Assist Parts Manager with pulling parts and selling to respective repair orders as needed by the technicians
• Create daily cash deposit for the Service Office
• Develop and generate reports from EVO and other web-based systems
• Perform ad-hoc inventory checks and inventory clean-up
• Assist the shipping and receiving department with the receipt of parts and merchandise
• Work Mau Marine special events as needed
• Special Projects as assigned
• Other duties as presented by management

• Ability to maintain accurate records
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and multi-tasking skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Works extended hours, outside of regular shift schedule, as required by operational needs
