Our client is a fast-growing chemical supply company close to the Dripping Springs/Driftwood area and they are looking to hire a Chemical Technician/ Packaging Associate. The person in this position will be shipping, receiving, transferring, and packaging chemicals and our client is open to candidates with a wide range of experience levels. This will be an evaluation hire position at a fast growing company with excellent pay and good benefits if converted.
*MUST HAVE STABLE WORK HISTORY*
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Down packing chemicals from 50 gallon drums to smaller containers for shipping to customers
- Maintaining and organizing the warehouse
- Safety is the highest priority for our client. All training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided
- Hours are 8 – 5 Monday – Friday with occasional overtime
- Pay range will be $18-$22/hr.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Warehouse and/or Shipping / Receiving experience is preferred but not required. Our client is very open to training people with no previous experience
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE equipment and working around chemicals
- Must be capable of occasional lifting up to 50lbs
- Good work ethic, trainable and high level of attention to detail
