Type: Contract to Hire (5-6 months)

Schedule Options:

  1. SUN-FRI 11PM - 7:30AM WITH OCCASIONAL OT
  2. SAT TO MON 6AM TO 6PM
  3. EVERY OTHER TUESDAY 7AM - 3:30PM

Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a QC Analyst, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our diverse range of products. As an entry-level position, you'll utilize your scientific knowledge to conduct analytical testing, analyze data, and contribute to the overall success of our analytical lab operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analytical testing following USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC/etc. or customer supplied guidelines, including Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metal Content, FTIR, HPLC, and GC, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of all analysis conducted.
  • Interpret and communicate analytical results effectively.
  • Schedule daily tasks efficiently and organize work priorities.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and chemical hygiene practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Conduct peer reviews of analytical testing and contribute to SOP development as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences (Chemistry or Biology preferred).
  • 0-5 years of experience in Quality, Laboratory, Clinical, or Chemical manufacturing roles (including internships or co-op experience).
  • Strong multitasking abilities and efficiency under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of lab safety and handling chemicals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform accurate testing under pressure.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
