Sales Associate/Team Member

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner. Answer any questions they may have about products or services.
• Sales Generation: Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products or services that meet those needs. Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the products or services offered by the company. Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and pricing to effectively communicate with customers.
• Transaction Processing: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Merchandising: Assist with merchandising efforts by restocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Ensure that all products are properly labeled and priced.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low-stock situations to management. Assist with receiving shipments and conducting inventory counts as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide support during busy periods. Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• .5-1 year of experience in a sales role, preferably in retail or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or retail management is a plus.

Duties include, front counter sales, return of equipment large and small, propane exchanges and filling bottles, help with 2-person delivery of equipment. WEEKENDS OFF!

Must be comfortable using a computer.

Must be mechanically inclined.

Must a valid Driver's license.
