Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled machine operator to set up, maintain, and operate sewing machinery. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

Responsibilities

· Set up sewing machine (cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle

· Control and adjust machine setting (ie speed)

· Sewing of oversized bags, handles, internal pockets …

· Inspect material for defects.

Qualifications

· Proven experience as a sewer in industry.

· Embroidery experience a plus

· Proficiency in cutting machine software a plus

· Minimum 3 years of experience in auto upholstery, marine canvas or boat upholstery

· Ability to communicate both verbally and with written English

· Self-Motivated & Organized

· High school diploma or equivalent: technical degree is a plus
