Lead carpenter

We are seeking a Lead Carpenter to become a part of our team! You will assist with the installation and repair of various machinery and equipment.

We are currently seeking lead carpenters, who are skilled and experienced deck builders who are passionate about transforming outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in residential construction, with specific expertise in deck building and remodeling. This role involves working closely with our design and project management teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Must be familiar with installing Trex , Timbertech and other composite decking and be familiar with local and IRC building codes for decks and residential buildings.

### Responsibilities:

- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and other project documents to determine the materials and tools needed for the construction or renovation of decks.

- Construct, renovate, and repair decks and other outdoor structures using a variety of materials, including wood, composite, and other decking materials.

- Ensure all projects comply with local building codes and regulations.

- Collaborate with project managers and other construction team members to ensure projects are completed according to plan.

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.

#### Requirements:

- Proven experience as a deck builder or in a similar role in residential construction.

- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to deck construction and residential remodeling.

- Proficiency in using tools and equipment necessary for deck building.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and team members while maintaining a positive and outgoing attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
