CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist - $28-$40/hr depending on experience (2nd shift)

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in our production process, focusing on the machining of rubber components using CNC mills. 

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC mills to produce precision rubber components according to engineering specifications.
• Set up and calibrate machining equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machining equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and achieve production targets.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in operating CNC mills.
• Proficiency in machining rubber materials is required.
• Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work the designated shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday.
• Experience with setup, programming, and maintenance of CNC equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with G-code programming is a plus.

General machining equipment;

Bridgeport type vert mill, Standard Lathe and Harding precision Lathe, Precision Grinder, Cutoff saw, Bandsaw, Sanders, Tool Grinders, Engravers, Hand tools, Mathematical skills(Counting,Measuring) Precision Measuring tools (Calipers,Micrometers,Dial indicators,Height gauge), Microscopes. Micro Welding

CNC Equipment;

Program, Setup, run CNC Mills and Lathes using SolidWorks/SolidCam or equivalent software. Also conversational programing.

Haas TM-3P vert 3-axis CNC mill

MoriSeiki NL2500 4-Axis CNC Lathe

Kent 2-Axis CNC Lathe
