POSITION SUMMARY This salaried exempt position will report directly to the Sales & Marketing manager. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Sales Passenger Car OEM & Tier 1 accounts, service, and customer support Build and maintain positive customer relationships, collect customer feedback, and persuade customers to purchase or specify THK products. Solve customer issues and resolve conflicts. Ensure timely and effective solutions to our customer’s needs. Represent THK professionally and reinforce a positive impression to all customers Prepare presentations and conduct sales calls on Passenger Car OEM & Tier 1 customers Establish and maintain customer contacts and is the primary liaison for customer requests Facilitate teamwork in studying, evaluating and preparing customer proposals Responsible for all product related commercial interface with customer, including quotations, volume pricing, and funding negotiations Analyze, research and share current and future program planning, such as current and future program sales status, customer market trend, next program and customer news and vehicle information Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Investigate and resolve technical questions and warranty appeals which require special attention or on-site visits Communicate and report the progress of sales initiatives to THK management SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of the Passenger Car Industry, customers and products Experience and relationships with U.S O.E.M and/or Tier 1 customers preferred Strong negotiating skills with solid technical aptitude utilizing high levels of logic and integrity Required to demonstrate a sense of urgency with a strong desire to succeed Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) Excellent PC skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Strong technical and analytical skills to support data investigation and analysis Ability to investigate product issues and resolve with customers Strong organizational skills, time management, and prioritization skills A self-starter, independent thinker, highly motivated and hardworking Technical/sales skills, including negotiating, and professional appearance along with ability to travel efficiently Superior interpersonal skills including rapport with internal and external customers Team player with positive attitude. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
